Unravelling the mysteries of edgy floats, slinky skates and static rotations. If you are looking to add some gravity-defying excitement to your dancing, the EdgeFloat workshop might be just what you need! Through a series of excercises and techniques, you will explore the principles of motion and momentum that are essential for executing floats and static rotations. This workshop combines edgework with floats and drifts, teaching you how to use your body to create the illusion of floating while adding edgy drifts and slinky skates.
Who is the workshop suitable for: For dancers who feel comfortable dancing in heels and lift their body off the floor in various grips (forearm grip, strong hold, pole pull up). Can do the aerial invert and lift their body off the floor.
Prerequisities: Heels: 7- or 8-inch sandals recommended. It can be done without heels as well.
Place: The workshop will take place in Pole Heaven Smíchov, Vodní 567, 150 00 Praha 5-Smíchov (corner of streets Vodní and Zborovská).

Want to elevate your dance skills and incorporate edgy details into your heelwork?You'll dive deeper into the edgework technique, explore various ankle positions, and learn techniques that involve weight transfers, upper-bodystrength, and engagement. Tati will guide you through a captivating and edgy style while you practice a variety of ankle positions, including sickled, winged, and flexed. By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to slide, skate, drag, and flow weightlessly over the floor, breaking the rules with edgy heelwork.
Who is the workshop suitable for: Recommended for int/adv heels dancers who are curious about the edgy heels style or have fundamental edgework experience. Must feel comfortable dancing in heels and lift their body off the floor in various grips (forearm grip, strong hold,pole pull up).
Prerequisites: 7, 8, or 9-inch. Sandals are recommended.
